Transaction Rating

What is Transaction Rating?
This is a feedback system to allow members to give feedback on how their transactions with one another have performed.

How does Transaction Rating works?
When member A purchased a product from member B, they can rate each other on how the transaction went through.

Who can give ratings?
Only buyer and seller in a completed transaction can give their ratings on each other.

How do I submit a rating for a member?
To submit your ratings, go to his/her member profile and click "Rate This Member". Complete the rating form.

Can I change a rating after submission?
No, you cannot change the ratings once submitted.

What will be rated?
These questions will for asked:

For Buyer For Seller
On Time Delivery Did the goods received on time? Did the payment received on time?
Met Expectations Did the goods arrived in good condition and met your expectations? Was the payment amount correct as indicated in the order?
Business Support Did the seller provide good customer support and able to resolve your issues Can the buyer be contacted easily and able to resolve issues?
Repeat Business Will you buy from this seller again? Will you sell to this buyers again?

For each of the question, a 5 point rating scale is used:

Poor Unsatisfactory Satisfactory Good Outstanding
1 2 3 4 5

Rating for each question will be used to compute an overall score.

In addition, 1 Trust Point® will be awarded if:

In addition, invoice number/reference and date will be requested. This is to ensure that rating is based on a real transaction.

How will the ratings be used?
Ratings will be displayed under each member's profile, as a form of reference for other members. To ensure ratings are updated, only ratings with invoice dated less than 24 months old are included.

I am a seller and I received a bad rating. What can I do?
Most sellers will eventually receive some bad ratings. While a low % of bad ratings is acceptable, you should review your business practices and customer service to improve future ratings.

We offer some suggestions:

  1. Contact the buyer to find out why a bad rating is given, and how you can fix the problem.
  2. If you are able to fix the issues, you can request the buyer to remove the rating.
  3. Rate the buyer to provide your view on the transaction.

How do I increase the number of ratings for my company?
You can encourage your buyers to submit their ratings in Exporters.SG.
